Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller Review

I absolutely loved this book! I was thrusted into a world that was beyond my wildest dreams. It was crammed packed with adventure and romance. The settings were descriptive and I felt like I was actually there. Riden is my heart and soul! He is super funny and the way he speaks to Alosa is.. *drools* The only problem I had with this book was the transition in the middle. From her being a "captive" to an abused girl because of what she is. It was still an amazing book and I would read it again if I could.

Dark Visions by L.J. Smith Review

Dark Visions is a three-part book written by L.J. Smith and it has captivated my heart with every page. The main character Kaitlyn Fairchild is a teenage girl who is an outcast, not only because of her looks but because she is physic. Because of her abilities, she is sent to a an institution that will help hone her skills with other kids who have special abilities just like her. As she is growing with her powers, she is put to the ultimate test of survival and soon discovers what love and friendship truly are. This book is truly worth the read!
